Katherine Jean Bolduan professionally known as Kate Bolduan is an American broadcast journalist. She is best known as anchor of the CNN morning show At This Hour. She co-anchored CNN's weekday morning programs New Day and The Situation Room. Bolduan took part in the award-winning coverage by CNN of the presidential election 2012 and the 2016 presidential election. Bolduan also worked as an official correspondent for the congressional office at Washington DC covering the activities of the US House and the senate. Bolduan was the Capitol Hill Unit member when she covered the congressional cycle which included events like discussion of raising the federal credit limit or the deliberations of the super committee. As an assignment reporter for general assignments she's covered events like those of Christmas Day bombing in 2009 as well as the Supreme Court ruling on Obamacare. Then she became an CNN Newsource national correspondent in 2007. As the CNN Newsource National Correspondent, she reported breaking news to more than 800 CNN Newsource partners and provided feature reports. She previously worked with NBC News MSNBC, WTVD-TV and WTVD-TV. She lives now living in New York City together with her husband, two children and two grandkids.
