Sharp, who was born in Rochester, New York in 1962, studied clarinets along with cellos, pianos, and clarinets at the Hochstein School of Music. Sharp was awarded a full award towards The Boston Conservatory for her love of school theatre. Cum Laude graduated with a B.F.A. from the Conservatory, Sharp set her goals for the stage. Sharp was a part of the Broadway National Tour of Carousel. Sharp was also in Abyssinia and Aida in addition to Thunder Knockin Jitney along with The Producers. She was even a read for August Wilson's Come and Gone. Sharp is engaged in several projects of her own that include screenplays as well as plays. Sharp is making her debut full-length studio album. Sharp loves exercising. She stays fit by doing boxing, studying Krav Maga, and taking long road trips. Sharp resides in Los Angeles with family.
