Tina and Amanda

Tina Louise has been a author, performer and actress in the United States for the past forty years. Her most well-known role is because of her portrayal as Ginger Grant (in the 60s TV show Gilligan's Island). In the 1950s she began her acting career on stage with Bettle Davis' show Two's Company. She continued to perform in various Broadway productions until she made it huge in the national theater space with Li'l Abner' in 1957. She also released her first album of music, It's Time For Tina during the same year. Louise's first foray into Hollywood was when she played Griselda in God's Little Acre, which was a 1958 drama. The film received widespread acclaim. Louise won the Golden Globe Award for the New Star of the year category.
