Tina and Amanda
Tina Louise has been a author, performer and actress in the United States for the past forty years. Her most well-known role is because of her portrayal as Ginger Grant (in the 60s TV show Gilligan's Island). In the 1950s she began her acting career on stage with Bettle Davis' show Two's Company. She continued to perform in various Broadway productions until she made it huge in the national theater space with Li'l Abner' in 1957. She also released her first album of music, It's Time For Tina during the same year. Louise's first foray into Hollywood was when she played Griselda in God's Little Acre, which was a 1958 drama. The film received widespread acclaim. Louise won the Golden Globe Award for the New Star of the year category. At the time, she enrolled into Actors Studio in New York and began a relationship with Lee Strasberg as his student. Louise joined CBS in 1964 to portray Ginger Grant. Louise maintained a successful career that combines Broadway television with Hollywood as well as portraying a more serious in contrast to her glamour-doll image had been portrayed as. In the last few years, she's also become an acclaimed director of well-known television series such as Supernatural and The 100. Born on August 28, 1965 in Essex. When she was 3years old, her family moved her to Toronto where she lived her childhood. Samantha Carter was chosen in 1997 to play the role and has remained in Toronto ever since.
